FUNdamentals Children's Center is the on-site childcare center for staff at MenorahParkCenter for Senior Living. We are fully licensed and have achieved a Four Star Rating through Step Up to Quality.
The Assistant Teacher is responsible for aiding all teachers in all aspects of classroom management. This includes working with children on projects and activities, supervising children during work and play activities, helping children with activities of daily living and supervising during nap-time.
Essential
Qualifications:
Must have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Must have experience working in a childcare setting. Must have a thorough understanding of childhood development. Must relate to children with warmth, affection and consistency. Must be able to engage children in appropriate classroom activities. Must follow all licensing regulations as stated by the State of Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Must follow all guidelines as stated by Step Up to Quality. Must be willing to take part in in-service training required through out the year.
