Duties include manual assembly, coating, laser engraving and solvent/ultrasonic part cleaning.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone that is flexible and comfortable with multitasking and prioritizing tasks.
Pay commensurate with experience.
Income is paid weekly, with opportunity for monthly bonuses! Essential Functions Build assemblies to print specifications to meet required due dates and adhere to all ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
Receive and document receipt of component parts i.
e.
, screw, stem cover, housing tube, actuator tube and boot to work cell.
Operate power shop equipment.
Move completed material to next workstation.
Maintain clean and safe work environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Physical/Environmental Demands Normal production environment.
Frequently required to stand, walk and sit and occasionally required to stoop, kneel and crouch.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Time spent on mechanical assembly 75%, HPLV painting 10%, and about 5% of time is using air tools, impacts, drills and grinders.
Daily lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Frequent exposure to paint solvents, adhesives, thread lockers, paints, sealants, metal dust, metal shavings, metal chips, lubricants and greases.
Education High school diploma or GED and certification from technical school or equivalent experience.
Background/Training/Skills/Experience Six months to one-year related experience or training.
Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions and interact with multiple personality types.
Ability to read and interpret blue prints.
Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers and calipers.
Previous experience in mechanical assembly is a plus.
