Sonographer I - Variable - Part-time - MacHouse Imaging
Provide quality sonographic images in a timely manner.
Assures a safe and clean environment.
Maintains knowledge of technical skills.
Successfully completes ultrasound scans.
Answers the phone and completes documentation appropriately.
Collaborates effectively with staff and co workers.
Demonstrates age specific knowledge.
Adheres to hospital safety standards.
Perform , follow protocol, and maintain competency for High Level Disinfection procedures.
Take responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment.
Provide age specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics.
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and or Registered Vascular Technologist certified.
BLS Certified, American Heart Association.
One year experience in scanning Abdominal, Vascular, Gynecology and OB/GYN preferred.
Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures preferred.
Knowledge of various types of ultrasound equipment.
Basic knowledge of oxygen tanks, suction machines and IVAC pumps.
Knowledge of computer stored images.
Qualifications:
RDMS and or RVT certified or eligible for certification within one year of hire.
2 yrs scanning experience preferred.
Recommended Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Asepsis Basic Life Support Geriatrics Occupational Safety And Health Professional Responsibility Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
