We are currently assisting our client in their search for an Accountant / Bookkeeper.

This role will take the lead on processing A/P, A/R and payroll.
Full cycle accounts payable including attaching purchase orders to invoices, inputting invoices, check runs and communication with vendors.
Monitor and reconcile the general ledger; including bank reconciliations.
Responsible for month-end and year-end closings, and providing accurate and timely financials to management and outside CPA firm.
Wide range of administrative and other accounting duties to support management team as directed.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
At least 4 years of experience in a full-charge bookkeeping or accounting role, with financial statement responsibility.
Detail oriented and must be able to complete analysis and interpret data.
Strong communication skills.
Working understanding of the accounting, reconciliations and other accounting / finance functions.
Excellent work habits and a great attitude are a must.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel / Word / Outlook). Yardi experience would be helpful
Ability to work independently and efficiently.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
